Every watchlist has a stock you meant to buy.

Most of us add stocks to a watchlist and then do nothing with them. The list grows, nobody tidies it, and a name only gets our full attention after it has jumped. By then all that is left to say is that it was on the list, and that we were watching it. Watching made us bystanders.

Informed Trader puts that list to work. Each trading day you receive a written thesis on every stock you follow, so that when one of them moves, you already know what its chart was saying and why. You can act with a plan rather than on impulse, and the decision is always yours.

Trend, momentum and range, in plain words

See at a glance whether each stock is gathering strength, losing it, or stretched too far from its usual range. Each reading is described in plain words, so you do not need to be an experienced chart reader to understand the chart.

Direction, conviction, entry, stop and target

Every stock you watch receives a short written thesis each trading day: which way it is leaning, how much conviction is behind it and why, and a suggested entry, stop and target. Knowing where you would get out before you get in keeps a decision from becoming an emotional one.

US.NVDA · Daily close Bullish · Conviction 6 of 10

Price closed back above its 50-day average on rising volume. MACD has turned up and the close sits in the upper half of its Bollinger band. A close below 198 would undo the case.

What a thesis includes
On the record

Know how far to trust a thesis.

How each past thesis turned out

Every thesis is kept, so that you can later see whether the price moved the way it said it would. Before you act on a new thesis, you can see how theses like it have turned out. Where there is not yet enough history to judge, the record says so plainly.

Five trading days later 31 theses across 24 trading days

Thesis: Bullish +3.2% five days later ✓

Bearish, conviction 5–6: too early to judge. Only seven theses so far, which is not yet enough to show a reliable hit rate.
